P.A. Fisher & Son - Butchers Shop History
P.A, Fisher & Son Family Butchers was established and opened the doors to begin trading in April 1984 in Hughenden Road, Hastings.
The proprietor Paul Fisher had managed a succession of shops including branches of Dewhursts since deciding to follow a career as a butcher in 1975.
Paul was assisted from the outset by his brother Tim who still maintains the day to day running of the Hastings shop. Tim started training as a butcher in 1974 working for local butchers in Ore Village.
Pauls son Steve Fisher joined the family business in 2000 learning the trade from his father and uncle.
In 1998 Paul acquired another premises at Silverhill St Leonards-on-Sea and after five years of the new shop trading very successfully Steve took over as manager in 2003 bringing new ideas and innovation to enable growth and expansion of the company.
